Question Syntax
The syntax of questions in ASL is different from spoken English's sentence structure. In spoken English, the question word (who, what, when, where, why, how) typically occurs at the beginning of the sentence. In ASL, however, the question is always put at the end of the sentence (http://files.startasl.com/store/books/maslg_sample.pdf). The subject, object, verb, and time all take place before this question verb. For more learning on this topic, you can visit http://files.startasl.com/store/books/maslg_sample.pdf
